Your Purchase Can Save a Life

Every day, homeless dogs and cats arrive in desperate need of medical treatment that can mean the difference between suffering and a second chance in life. From emergency surgeries to lifesaving medications, these animals rely entirely on the compassion of people like you. Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter provides advanced medical care at our county shelter, which is the only animal shelter in the largest county in New Jersey. We spayed/neutered over 1,300 animals in 2025, reducing the homeless animal population in our community. The total direct animal care we provided last year was over $270,000!

To help cover these critical costs, we’re holding our annual Big Dog 50/50 fundraising raffle. We would be truly grateful for your support. When you purchase a 50/50 ticket, you’re doing two wonderful things at once:

  • Helping provide urgent medical care for homeless pets who have nowhere else to turn
  • Entering for a chance to win your share of the total funds raised

Every ticket purchased directly supports veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and the comfort these animals deserve while they wait for a loving home.

Your kindness can transform a life. Whether it’s a dog recovering from surgery or a senior cat receiving the medication that keeps them comfortable, your participation makes real, tangible change.

Thank you for standing with us and for believing that every animal deserves care, dignity, and hope. Last year’s Jackpot was $95,000 and three winners shared the Jackpot! Tickets are $5 each.

The winning ticket will be drawn at 2:30 pm on October 10, 2026, during our tenth annual 2026 Paw Prints Pet Fest & 5K at beautiful Smithville Park, Eastampton.

You do not have to be present to win!

Online ticket requests begin on May 1st and end October 9th. If you reserve tickets online, you will receive an e-mail message with your ticket numbers.

You must be 18 years old to request tickets.
