Help Dobby overcome puppy strangles and get healthy again

Dobby is one of the cutest puppies we've seen in a long time, and also one of the sickest. He came to the shelter with injuries consistent with being thrown from a car. He also had a horrible oozing rash on his face, which the vets suspected was puppy strangles.

Strangles is a skin disorder that affects puppies, hence the name. The skin develops oozing sores and is extremely uncomfortable for the dog. The salivary glands and lymph nodes also can be affected.

Dobby's condition is severe and he needs more intensive care than the shelter can provide, so our group has stepped up to help him. He's hospitalized and receiving treatment with a number of medicines. His vet told us that he doesn't feel very good, but she thinks he can make a good recovery.

Despite being thrown out like trash and having a face full of oozing sores, Dobby still has tail wags and lots of love to give.
